Homework Bucket

Homework Bucket
Teachers aren't the only ones who need a helping hand where homework is concerned-parents do too! In a letter sent home at the beginning of the year, suggest to parents that they fill an inexpensive bucket, plastic bin, or basket with the following items: special homework pencils and pens, a stapler, paper clips, colored pencils, page markers, sticky notes, highlighters, and any other office supplies that the child might like. Have the parents stipulate that the supplies can only be used for completing homework. Students will love having their own "offices" to work from at home.
